it's once again that time. so skin that shootin' iron and let's get get those cock-sucking varmints. friday bullet points are flyin' like a dime-novel corral shootout.
- got a birthday party for my buddy the chef [lil'sis's hubby] this weekend. i love going out to eat with him, it's always chefs trying to impress other chefs. the food is always outstanding. plus maeby will be going with me and she promised to show a little cleavage for me.
- worst firefighter, ever.
- the final episode of battlestar galactica is tonite. this makes me sad and at the same time excited, cause i wanna see how it ends. let's hope it's not horrible let down like the end of the matrix trilogy, or just a disappointing let down like the end of the sopranos. [even tho both made sense, they were NOT the least bit satisfying] anyways, in prep for later tonight, be sure to check out the frak map.

- i'm up to 350 miles on the bike so far. not bad for only having it like 3 weeks now, and last week it was all rainy and cold so i didn't ride it. but lately, since the weather has been so nice, i've been driving around for an hour or two after work. LOVE IT. actually got comfortable enough to get it up to 75 on the freeway today. good times.

- if you're not a fan of pandora then you must not like music. i listen to it all day while i code. i've put in like 20+ artists i like and it plays me good music for hours and hours. it takes a little time to train it not play crappy bands/songs you don't like, but once you get it set, it's all good in da hood.
- next month i'll be going to CMA beltaine. i was invited by little miss blue. it's some sort of 4-day pagan, wiccan, clothing optional, free spirit, hippie camping fest in the woods. actually sounds like would be fun to experience, even tho i'm not wiccan. i plan to expound on this in a later journal entry.
- i know i don't talk about her much, but i have a daughter. she lives in dallas and recently turned 18. well she may end up moving in with me and taking my second bedroom [currently my home office]. this is also something i plan to expound upon in a later journal entry.
- anyone rocking the twitter? my username is obscurity. i tweet a few times a day. post a comment with your username and we can be twatties. truth be told i signed up a long ass time ago and didn't really "get it" but once i got an iPhone, i now see how useful and fun it can be. so those of you with crackberrys, iPhones, etc, you really need to check it out.
- speaking of iPhone. i was having some battery issues, not holding a charge. so i made an appointment at the apple store, went in, and they replaced my iPhone with a new one, and copied all my stuff over. well, it's prolly a refurb one, but whatevos. hooray for good customer service, so rare these days. then there's this...
- so last friday i decide my cable internet bill is too expensive, so i call up time-warner [and after waiting on hold for 40 minutes] i tell them i wish to drop my $15 extra "speed boost" package thingy and just stick with the basic internet service. so of course they say well we can drop the price on the speed boost by $10 so you're only paying $5 a month for it. sigh, fine, do it. then she tells me my modem is kind of old [5 years] and they can send me a new free one and i'll get even better speeds with the speed boost thing. so i get the modem the other day in the mail, hook it up, and now i get about HALF the speed i used to get. _WTF TIME-WARNER?_ i'm gonna hook up the old one again. fuckers.
